VishwaThulasi

I am glad I saw two movies on Wednesday night, because the second one was truly awful. VishwaThulasi from India was a real bore. I saw at least a dozen people leave the theater half way through the film. I usually enjoy films from Bollywood, but this one was really bad.

In VishwaThulasi, a beautiful dance instructor returns to her childhood village and renews ties with her first sweetheart. The story doesn’t have any dramatic moments to talk about. And it lacks beautiful choreography that is a hallmark of Bollywood films. The music is boring and uninspiring at best. I was really disappointed with this one and I was really looking forward to it. I guess I need to rent a good Bollywood film to make up for this one.
